Do you know the most common sizes of office cubicles?

If you’re planning to set-up a new office or just trying to turn your old office into a modern one, chances are, the office cubicle is on your drawing board. One of the problems you would encounter is how to fit in your existing tables and chairs. Another problem would be the sizes of the partition panels you would be using.

If you got your existing tables from furniture shops, I guess the sizes of these are just pretty standard. Like the width comes at 120 cm or 100 cm and the depth at 60 cm. Well, the manager’s table could vary from 140 cm up to 160 cm with a depth of 70 cm.

If this is your case, then you have fewer worries as these dimensions are also the sizes of the standard office partitions panels. Panel sizes do vary but most of them just match the office tables.

Now the sizes of the office cubicles mostly depend on the type of work you are doing. If your business is a call-center type, then a smaller cubicle is ideal to accommodate more personnel. Say, cubicle sizes of 80 cm width and a 45 cm depth. This minimal size handles just the telephone and your computer monitor. To contain the noise between cubicles, the height of the partition panels would be a bit higher, say 150 cm.

If your office involves a ton of paperwork, like if you’re into accounting and legal work, then a fairly large table is a must. Tables should be at least 140 cm wide. In this case, the sizes of cubicles could be around 200 cm by 150 cm. More panels are needed if you’d like to have it enclosed.
